Summary: In this work, an energy transmission system (IPT) powered by a photovoltaic module was implemented. Two prototypes were assembled, one with 20 W and the other with 100 W that was powered by a photovoltaic module of the same power. A single-phase full bridge rectifier was placed at the output of the IPT secondary resonant circuit, and a buck-boost converter was connected to the rectifier output that fed a resistive load. An equivalent Thevenin cc-cc circuit was determined from a IPT system, as well as a coupling factor equation that depends on measured electrical parameters. Experimental tests with the disturbs&observes technique acting on the buck-boost converter were carried out in order to track the maximum power point of the photovoltaic module, in addition to validating the presented theory. In this work, the variables reason and tracking efficiency were defined, which are indexes for evaluating IPT performance when powered by a photovoltaic module.
