Summary: Given the importance of the quality of electrical energy in transmission and distribution systems, the need to use loads, which behaves as close as possible to linear loads gains strength. To achieve this goal, the power factor pre-regulators were developed. Therefore, in this work, a SEPIC three-phase power factor pre-regulator rectifier topology is proposed. The entire equations are derived for operation in discontinuous conduction mode, as well as a dynamic model on the frequency domain that corresponds to the variation of the output voltage when a variation is applied to the duty cycle of operation. The SEPIC rectifier addressed, in its operation as a voltage lift, is originally driven by a single PWM signal with fixed duty cycle, sent to the three switches present on the topology. For operation as a voltage lowering device, a switch is added in series with the diode bridge, working in a complementary manner. For validation of the topology proposed, a 500W and 200V output voltage converter, driven by a 20 kHz PWM signal and powered from the 220V three-phase network, is designed and simulated. In addition, a prototype is implemented and the results are compared with the simulation.
